Responsibilities
- Application Development: Translate technical specifications into working, tested applications by writing high-quality Java EE code and generating detailed programming specifications.
- Problem Solving: Resolve and troubleshoot complex technical issues arising during software operation, including assistance with implementation, migrations, and conversions.
- Analysis & Design: Lead analysis and design sessions based on business requirements, ensuring the use of the latest design patterns and structured methodologies.
- Testing & Quality: Conduct rigorous unit testing, impact assessments, and design walkthroughs to ensure the quality and stability of all deliverables.
- Integration: Develop and implement Web Services, SOA, and middleware components to ensure seamless communication between disparate systems.
- Maintenance: Provide post-implementation support, modify product installation scripts, and document all system architectures and user processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on development experience with Java Enterprise (Java EE) and n-tier enterprise applications.
- Framework Expertise: Deep proficiency in Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security, Batch) and ORM tools such as JPA or Hibernate.
- Database Mastery: Expert-level skills in SQL and PL/SQL, with specific experience in Azure Cosmos DB, Postgres, and Oracle.
- Front-End Skills: Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks including React, Angular, or jQuery.
- Cloud & BPM: Demonstrated experience with Azure Cloud services (Blob Storage, Cognitive Search) and BPM tools like Camunda or Drools.
- Tools: Expert user of Eclipse IDE or Rational Application Developer (RAD).
- Communication: Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a track record for meeting tight deadlines.
