Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex objects using ABAP Objects and modern ABAP 7.4/7.5 syntax.
- Build cutting-edge solutions using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS), and the Gateway Service Builder (SEGW).
- Manage seamless data flow between SAP S/4HANA/ECC and external systems using IDocs, OData, REST, and SOAP APIs. Leverage integration middleware and the Application Interface Framework (AIF) for robust solutions.
- Develop SAP Fiori applications using modern development environments and create sophisticated output documents using SAP Adobe Forms.
- Implement standard and custom enhancements (BAdIs, Customer Exits, BTEs) and manage automated business processes via SAP Workflow.
- Lead code reviews and quality assurance using the ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and Code Inspector. Utilize enterprise change management and incident tracking tools.
- Act as a technical coach for the development team, facilitating upskilling in modern tools like Eclipse ADT and GitLab.
Qualifications
- Mastery of ABAP development in both legacy and modern SAP environments.
- Demonstrated experience across core modules including Finance (FI/CO/FM), Treasury (TRM), and Supply Chain (MM/SD).
- Proficient with Eclipse ADT, SAPGUI, GitLab, and enterprise project management software.
- Experience with Embedded Analytics and specialized analytics cloud platforms.
- Expert-level experience managing the full lifecycle of development deliverables, including comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field; development-related certifications are highly preferred.
