As a Senior Software Developer, you will bridge the gap between legacy software frameworks, modern web interfaces, RESTful Web APIs, and centralized relational database systems. Operating fully onsite in Toronto, you will lead end-to-end software design, build secure API integrations, consolidate disparate legacy data sources, and develop executive reporting dashboards and analytics services. Consolidate legacy data sources into unified platforms to improve data quality, analytics performance, reporting consistency, and system interoperability.
Develop automated data pipelines, backend APIs, and executive dashboard functionality to support workload analytics and performance reporting.
Design, build, and optimize relational database objects in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
Perform data migration planning, extraction, transformation, mapping, and validation across multi-tier application environments.
Support the development of conceptual, logical, and physical architecture artifacts in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application errors, database bottlenecks, and performance issues in a timely manner.
Manage code repositories, automated build pipelines, and sprint backlogs using Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Visual Studio.

Core Technical & Software Development Requirements
.NET Core & C# Mastery: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on software development experience using .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Identity, JavaScript, jQuery, and XML/XSLT.
Enterprise .NET Libraries: Strong experience building applications with WCF, WPF, MS Sync Framework, Web Services, Entity Framework, Enterprise Library, and DevExpress.
Database Programming & Migration: Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and Oracle RDBMS data modeling and migration.
Architecture & API Design: Proven experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), object-oriented design, UML modeling, and designing/consuming RESTful Web APIs.
