Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Designer for a 4 month contract in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role.
Advantages

Responsibilities
• Current system analysis, planning and draft solution design for multiple applications
• Assess current systems and identify opportunities for cloud migration, automation, and improved supportability
• Design future-state solution architectures aligned with modernization goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements
• Develop solution roadmaps, integration strategies, and technical documentation
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and lifecycle management standards
• Support governance and decision-making through technical expertise and analysis.
Qualifications
Must have:
• 10+ years of experience in solutions design
• Ability to design hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models.
• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange servers (Azure, Migration, On prem to Cloud, application assessment)
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance during solution design and implementation phases.
• Understanding of OPS standards, infrastructure management,
