Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrated hosting solutions across AWS cloud environments, ensuring alignment with corporate I&IT mandates and best practices.
- Lead the design and deployment of Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solutions, including call/queue flows, agent experience, and Contact Lens data analysis.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system design models, technical specifications, and architectural artifacts.
- Build and manage automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and related tools.
- Implement rigorous cloud security models, focusing on identity management, network security, and encryption standards.
- Define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring to ensure the continuous availability and health of production systems.
- Gather client business requirements and provide expert advice on short- and long-term technology strategic plans.
- Assess the performance and capacity of existing systems to recommend necessary expansions, renovations, or replacements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Lex, Kinesis, S3, Glue, DynamoDB, RDS).
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing Amazon Connect solutions and the surrounding AWS ecosystem.
- Strong mastery of AWS CLI, SDK, IAM roles, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Deep knowledge of integrated networking, VPC configuration, firewalls, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
- Proven track record in Contact Center domain implementations and familiarity with public sector enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a team environment.
