Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical solution design and architecture for modern web applications, middleware integration layers, and COTS CRM platforms.
Define detailed application architecture, data flow diagrams, security controls, and n-tier integration specifications connecting public web portals to back-office systems.
Architect and oversee J2EE integration services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware interfaces using XML, XSD, XSLT, XQuery, and transformation frameworks.
Collaborate with business analysts, cybersecurity leads, and product management to translate complex business needs into detailed functional and technical design documents.
Guide technical development teams through SDLC phases within Agile and hybrid delivery models, participating in code/design reviews and technical risk assessments.
Perform technical analysis and impact assessments for system enhancements, data transformations, and workflow automation.
Maintain business and system architecture artifacts throughout the project delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Qualifications
COTS CRM Architecture Seniority: 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale, complex COTS CRM platforms (such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Oracle Siebel, or IBM Cúram) (Strictly Required).
J2EE System Integration: 10+ years of experience in J2EE integration connecting web applications with COTS CRM systems and enterprise middleware (Strictly Required).
Business & System Architecture: Demonstrated track record delivering end-to-end business architecture artifacts, system analysis, and detailed functional/technical design specifications (Strictly Required).
Web Tech & Scripting Stack: Hands-on experience with n-tier web-based architectures, Unix, Shell scripting, Ant scripts, JavaScript, HTML5, and source control management tools (e.g., Subversion, CVS, Git) (Strictly Required).
Data Transformation & XSLT: Proven proficiency executing data transformation tasks using XSLT, XQuery, XPATH, and XSLT IDEs (e.g., Oxygen XSLT IDE) (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Prior solution design experience within a public sector or broader public sector environment following formal enterprise architecture standards.
Familiarity with MuleSoft middleware integration flows or React front-end framework architectures.
