Responsibilities
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical leads, product managers, and developers, to advance the Digital Health Data Dictionary.
- Metadata Tooling: Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to support the selection and implementation of metadata management tools and solutions.
- Process Development: Design and implement robust processes and procedures for metadata-related deliverables.
- Technical Advisory: Act as the lead technical advisor during assessments, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet complex information management standards.
- Reporting & Presentation: Translate intricate technical concepts into plain-language briefings and presentations for stakeholders, outlining implementation plans and recommendations.
- Project Governance: Anticipate and resolve technical roadblocks to ensure project deliverables are met within budget and to the highest quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in specialized IT consulting, specifically within the Public Sector (Must Have).
- Cross-Functional Expertise: 7+ years of experience working alongside clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
- Metadata Management: Proven track record in developing processes for metadata management and implementing metadata tooling solutions.
- Information Management: Deep knowledge of Information Management principles, policies, and best practices.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Healthcare Information Systems used throughout Ontario.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate complex stakeholder engagements.
