Responsibilities
- Lead design and requirements sessions with product management, data experts, and end-users to document reporting and analytics needs.
- Provision, configure, and optimize complex data pipelines using cloud-native analytics services to ensure seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to construct wireframes and mock-ups, developing mobile-enabled reports and dashboards.
- Conduct deep-dive performance modeling and optimization for reporting tools to ensure rapid data retrieval and a smooth user experience.
- Evaluate and determine appropriate technical specifications and solution designs, providing expert recommendations to leadership.
- Diagnose and resolve functional or performance issues, implementing both corrective and preventive fixes.
- Partner with DevOps engineers to support developed reports across all environments within an Agile delivery framework.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience provisioning and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Synapse.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science and Data Modeling to support complex analytics.
- 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards, with a focus on mobile enablement.
- Hands-on development experience with d3.js for specialized visualizations.
- Strong experience developing within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (including services like Data Factory or Databricks).
- Proven ability to design visually effective, user-centric reports (portfolio of work samples preferred).
- Must have experience working within large-scale public environments and adhering to corporate data standards.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
