As a Senior Specialized IT Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex asset management workflows, data migration engineering, and multi-tier enterprise integrations. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will lead hands-on Maximo system configuration using Application Designer, Database Configuration, and Security Groups, while driving end-to-end Work Management lifecycles, data mapping routines, and system integration validations. Design and configure end-to-end Work Management workflows, governing Service Request (SR) to Work Order (WO) lifecycles, Job Plans, Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, and Work Types.
Structure and optimize Maximo data models, including Assets, Locations, Classifications, Meters, PM hierarchies, and job plan relationships.
Lead data migration and mapping activities from legacy EAM systems to Maximo, supporting data validation, reconciliation, and load cycles.
Author detailed integration specifications and validate API integrations connecting Maximo with ERP frameworks (SAP, SAP BTP) and enterprise facility management systems (TRIRIGA).
Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, conducting root-cause analysis to differentiate between data, workflow, security, and configuration defects.
Review and validate configuration workbooks, mobile setups, dashboards, workflows, and custom reports.
Evaluate environment promotion readiness across development, testing, pre-production, and production staging environments.
Support cutover planning, go-live execution, post-deployment hypercare, and system stabilization activities.
Author comprehensive technical documentation, decision notes, job aids, and knowledge transfer materials for sustainment support.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Maximo Consulting Requirements
Maximo Configuration Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Maximo configuration experience, including direct work in Organization setup, Site setup, Application Designer, Database Configuration, and Security Groups.
Full-Lifecycle Implementations: Successfully delivered a minimum of 3 full-cycle Maximo implementations as a primary Maximo Application Consultant.
End-to-End Work Management: Proven track record configuring complete Work Management processes (SR to WO lifecycles, Job Plans, PMs, Work Types, scheduling, and vendor/contractor tracking).
Maximo Data Model Mastery: Deep expertise in Maximo data structure and setup, spanning Assets, Locations, Classifications, Meters, PM hierarchies, and job plan structures.
Data Migration Engineering: Hands-on experience mapping legacy EAM data to Maximo, executing data validation, reconciliation, and identifying data vs. configuration defects.
ERP Integration Experience: Working knowledge of Maximo integrations with enterprise ERP systems, including experience authoring technical integration specifications.
