Responsibilities
- Technical Analysis: Capture business requirements and assess technical capabilities to create and update business rules; ensure applications function without defects across identified peripherals.
- Data Science & Visualization: Provide data cleansing and analytics services; develop dynamic dashboards and custom reports using Power BI and Microsoft technologies.
- Encryption Coordination: Use enterprise Service Management tools (e.g., Remedy) to manage encryption tickets; coordinate activities between clients and vendors and update the CMDB.
- E-Learning Development: Convert training materials from various formats (Sway, Word, Video) into SCORM files using Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline.
- LMS Management: Support the upload, testing, and piloting of SCORM files within multiple Moodle LMS environments.
- Infrastructure Support: Create and manage data sources using SharePoint Lists and NoSQL databases; review system architecture and deploy updates/patches as required.
- Field Support: Travel across the province to provide project support and coordinate the remediation of telephony and radio equipment.
Qualifications
- Systems Analysis Expertise: 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and implementation methods within large-scale IT environments.
- Data Mastery: Proven experience with Power BI, data integration, and managing data sources such as NoSQL databases and SharePoint Lists.
- Public Safety Tech: Understanding of emergency health services and experience with 24x7 critical operations; familiarity with encryption key management is highly preferred.
- E-Learning Specialist: Advanced skills in Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline and a deep understanding of Moodle LMS from a content development perspective.
- Process Knowledge: Strong grasp of Change Management, ITIL processes (Incident/Task/Work Order), and project management methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to document technical changes and train other IT staff to support deployments.
