Our client is looking for a Systems Analyst for a 10 months contract, based in Toronto with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week). There is potential for one-time extension.

Responsibilities
âą Provide expert technical leadership throughout all stages of the SDLC
âą Reverse-engineer data models and develop ERDs and metadata documentation
âą Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prepare TRA documentation
âą Lead the development of system architecture and design artifacts
âą Translate business requirements into system specifications
âą Guide system integration efforts across diverse platforms and technologies
âą Plan, execute, and support testing phases including UAT and integration testing
âą Support system implementation and provide post-deployment guidance
âą Contribute to technical standards, QA practices, and performance metrics
âą Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with project goals
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 10+ years of system analysis and design experience in complex environments
âą Proven experience in reverse engineering physical data models, building ERDs, and generating metadata reports
âą Expertise in the full project lifecycle: Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation
âą Demonstrated experience with system integration and creating technical specifications
âą Experience preparing TRA-related artifacts and architecture documentation
âą Strong experience in testing (system, integration, UAT), including test plan creation
âą Skilled in requirement gathering through interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions
âą Experience leading support/development teams for multidimensional and relational database systems
Nice to Have:
đ ïž Knowledge of RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodologies
đ Familiarity with middleware, gateways, and data movement processes
đ Understanding of multidimensional data structures and data warehousing (Facts and Dimensions)
đ Knowledge of GO-IT standards and enterprise architecture principles
âż Hands-on experience with AODA and WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance
đ Experience with quality assurance standards and documentation best practices
