Responsibilities
The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for the following key areas:
Technical Solution Design & Documentation:
- Lead and document the detailed design of integration solutions between customer-facing applications and backend platforms, including BMC Helix Remedy or similar ITSM solutions.
- Create and maintain API specifications, data flow diagrams, integration mappings, and comprehensive solution blueprints.
- Ensure all designs comply with security, scalability, and performance best practices.
Requirements Analysis & Translation:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to interpret functional requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable technical specifications.
- Work closely with development teams to validate technical feasibility and maintain alignment between business objectives and system capabilities.
Integration & API Management:
- Define, document, and manage RESTful API specifications (using OpenAPI/Swagger) for system integration and data exchange.
- Partner with backend teams to establish and enforce API governance, version control, and thorough documentation standards.
Data & Process Optimization:
- Contribute to discussions on data architecture related to customer data management and process digitization.
- Identify and propose opportunities for intelligent automation and data enrichment to optimize business processes.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solution Designer in complex enterprise environments.
- 7+ years of experience with system integration patterns (REST, event-driven), REST APIs, and middleware technologies.
- 7+ years of experience and proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including interface specifications, sequence diagrams, and solution blueprints.
- Strong expertise in defining RESTful APIs and creating OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Hands-on experience integrating or extending BMC Helix Remedy or similar ITSM platforms.
- Strong ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear, concise, and version-controlled technical specifications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Experience in projects involving customer data management, digital agreement workflows, or customer experience platforms (CRM, CMS).
- Familiarity with AI/ML-based recommendation systems or data enrichment processes.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, API testing tools (e.g., Postman), and version control (Git).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and microservices architectures.
