Responsibilities
DevOps & Release Management: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Manage branching strategies and coordinate releases in alignment with change management protocols.
Systems Analysis: Conduct gap analyses between legacy systems and proposed digital solutions. Evaluate technology alternatives, including COTS, cloud-native, and custom-built options.
Technical Specifications: Translate complex business needs into technical specifications compatible with Oracle PL/SQL, VB.NET, and Spring.NET environments.
Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop integrated test plans within CI/CD pipelines. Define coverage for unit, integration, and regression testing while collaborating with developers to optimize data sets.
Legacy Integration: Analyze architecture dependencies to design integration strategies that bridge legacy frameworks with modern platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders and provide specialized technical expertise to guide feasibility studies.
Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide implementation and post-implementation support for complex applications.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis, DevOps, or QA roles.
Technical Stack: Proven experience with VB.NET, C#, Oracle PL/SQL, and the Spring.NET framework.
Tools: Expertise in Azure DevOps, Git Actions, and DevOps Test Planner. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Alfresco CMS is an asset.
Testing Mastery: Demonstrated experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro) and documenting complex test scenarios.
Soft Skills: Strong self-learning abilities, excellent analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
