Responsibilities
- Advise on testing strategy, test plans, and the selection of appropriate testing tools.
- Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Execute system integration tests, specialized tests, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with project leads and team members throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Create test data for various testing phases, including functional and business validation.
- Identify and resolve problems and issues, and conduct AODA compliance audits.
- Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and results.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in the process, planning, organizing, and implementing of testing efforts.
- Extensive experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM.
- Proficient in Cloud technology (specifically Microsoft Azure), Agile, and DevOps.
- Experience with AODA compliance auditing using tools like AXE and WAVE.
- Strong knowledge of the SDLC and testing processes.
- Experience with various testing types, including functional, non-functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with databases such as IMS/DB2/SQL/Oracle and mainframe tools like TSO/SPF.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
