Responsibilities
- Strategic Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that cover functional, non-functional, and systems integration testing. Identify the optimal selection of testing tools and resource requirements.
- CMS & Web Testing: Execute specialized testing for Drupal and WordPress platforms, ensuring seamless performance across web and mobile technologies.
- Agile & DevOps Integration: Actively participate in the Scrum process, analyzing user stories to create test data and managing the defect lifecycle within an Agile/DevOps pipeline.
- Accessibility (AODA) Compliance: Conduct rigorous assessments of product compliance with WCAG 2.1 (Level A, AA, AAA). Ensure that all digital products are accessible and meet legislative requirements.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain test script frameworks featuring reusable components. Transition manual test cases into automated suites to improve regression efficiency.
- End-to-End Execution: Lead various testing types including black box, penetration, security, unit, load, and performance testing.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT leads and project team members to provide "Smart Hands" support for implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
- Direct experience testing Content Management Systems, specifically Drupal and/or WordPress.
- Proven track record in both manual and automated testing within large-scale system environments.
- In-depth understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 success criteria and techniques for performing compliance assessments.
- Knowledge of automated test tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record for meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments.
