Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on testing strategies, tool selection, and resource identification for large-scale system implementations.
- Design and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Postman, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools like JIRA, ALM, and Azure DevOps, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
- Conduct stress, load, and performance testing to ensure scalability; perform basic security validation and data integrity checks across databases.
- Execute Accessibility testing in alignment with AODA (WCAG 2.0 AA) standards and manage data reconciliation for complex business systems.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while maintaining quality metrics and test coverage documentation.
- ISupport release management and infrastructure sustainment activities, including time-sensitive upgrades and environment validations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience providing development support for COTS-based Identity and Access Management systems, including 3+ years with Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite Plus and OIDC/OAuth2 protocols.
- Extensive experience with Web tiers (IIS, Apache Tomcat), App tiers (WebSphere), and DB tiers (Oracle v11g/12c) across Windows, Linux, and Solaris environments.
- Strong proficiency with Angular (12/14), Spring Boot, and Java Open JDK (8/11), along with exposure to Azure and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Micro Focus UFT, TestComplete) and performance tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Advanced ability to write complex SQL queries for backend validation and experience in data cleansing and migration testing.
- Significant experience testing custom and COTS implementations, including rules engines (e.g., IBM J-Rules).
- Solid understanding of AODA regulations and experience using accessibility tools like JAWS, NVDA, or Compliance Sheriff.
