Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on testing strategies, tool selection, and resource identification; develop comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases.
- Perform functional, non-functional, integration, system, and regression testing across web-based, batch, and client-server systems.
- Conduct positive, negative, exploratory, and boundary testing to validate functionality against user expectations.
- Identify, log, and prioritize defects with clear reproduction steps; coordinate with developers for triage and validate subsequent fixes.
- Partner with business clients to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Automation & DevOps: Code automated test scripts to produce reusable test cases and utilize DevOps tools for tracking and reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups and sprint planning, while providing regular quality status reports and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for complex systems in diverse environments.
- Demonstrated experience in testing web services, online systems, and batch processing.
- Proficient in DevOps tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps, and experienced with automated testing tools.
- In-depth understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and structured testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of supporting business clients and meeting strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with AODA regulations, Information Management principles, and object-oriented testing methods is highly desirable.
