Operating as a senior quality champion, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, development vendors, and project managers to orchestrate structural triage loops, validate complex data sets, and eliminate technical defects across cloud, SaaS, and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) application platforms.
Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite, 7.25 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
Duration: 10-month contract.
Advantages
Commanding Team Ownership: Lead full-lifecycle enterprise quality governance tracks while mentoring and supervising junior validation analysts.

Responsibilities
QA Leadership & Strategy Design: Lead and mentor QA teams while designing comprehensive test strategies, regression models, coverage maps, and final testing summary reports across multiple project lifecycle phases.

DevOps & Version Control Governance: Configure, maintain, and manage automated test configurations, deployment artifacts, and version control matrices within Microsoft Azure DevOps platforms.

Advanced Test Data Engineering: Formulate and manage realistic, real-world mock data sets and execute structural database queries to validate data integrity across various application modules.
User Acceptance (UAT) Facilitation: Partner directly with corporate clients to lead initial UAT sessions, providing structured onboarding, testing guidance, and defect logging blueprints for business users.
Cross-Functional Specification Auditing: Review abstract functional designs, design specifications, and user guides to flag documentation inconsistencies and optimize overall solution clarity.
Change Control & Status Telemetry: Track, manage, and communicate software change requests, defect logs, and platform quality metrics directly to project managers and steering squads.
Qualifications
Core QA Seniority & Leadership: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, including an established background leading QA teams and managing multi-stakeholder defect-tracking systems.
Platform & Core Stack Literacy: Hands-on experience testing and validating systems built over enterprise architectures, including SharePoint networks, Web Services, HTML layers, JavaScript/VBScript components, COTS systems, and cloud/SaaS software.
Microsoft DevOps Mastery: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience utilizing and configuring Microsoft Azure DevOps for work item optimization, version control, release tracking, and test plan management.
Comprehensive SDLC Fluency: In-depth, practical understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), structured software development methodologies, and entry/exit criteria rules.
Data Verification Capabilities: Demonstrated capability to create and execute database queries to extract, isolate, and validate background application data streams.
UAT Strategy Orchestration: Proven experience building test cases, organizing test datasets, and guiding non-technical business users through User Acceptance Testing cycles.
