Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex, large-scale enterprise applications.
Manual & Automated Test Execution: Execute functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web, GUI, and backend environments.
Automation Engineering: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Postman, integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Accessibility Compliance: Conduct rigorous accessibility testing to ensure all digital interfaces strictly adhere to AODA and WCAG standards.
Performance & Load Testing: Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to analyze system bottlenecks and scalability.
Defect Management & Collaboration: Identify, log, track, and manage software defects in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, collaborating directly with developers to resolve issues.
Database & API Validation: Perform backend database testing using complex SQL queries and validate RESTful web services/APIs.
Agile Governance & Reporting: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives while maintaining test metrics, coverage reports, and QA documentation.
Qualifications
Enterprise QA Seniority: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on software testing experience in enterprise-level IT environments and large-scale systems (Strictly Required).
Manual & Automated Testing: Proven expertise in both manual testing and building automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium or Postman (Strictly Required).
AODA & Accessibility Expertise: Extensive experience conducting accessibility testing and ensuring strict AODA / WCAG compliance (Strictly Required).
Performance Testing: Demonstrated experience executing performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner (Strictly Required).
Defect Tracking & Lifecycle Tools: Hands-on experience managing bugs, test cases, and execution through Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM (Strictly Required).
Database & Cloud Ecosystems: Strong proficiency writing SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server) and working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) (Strictly Required).
