Responsibilities
The Senior Technology Architect will be responsible for:
- Leading the architecture design from conception through to implementation for large, distributed cross-platform environments.
- Utilizing deep hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 (Case Management, Customer Service, Sales, etc.) and the Power Platform.
- Designing enterprise-level cloud-native architectures, including microservices and containerized solutions in a Kubernetes environment.
- Designing custom-code projects, leveraging low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365 and Azure. Ensuring working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Working knowledge with Dataverse design and development. Expert knowledge developing APIs, especially RESTful web services.
- Applying Expert knowledge of Cloud Security Principles and technology such as Azure AD B2C Authentication, Okta Authentication.
- Developing solution architecture documentation according to industry standards and working knowledge of DevOps practices (task boards, pipelines).
- Applying experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, database technologies, and communications protocols, and designing processes around ITIL methodology.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- Deep hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 (Case Management, Customer Service, Sales, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Working knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365 and Azure.
- Working knowledge with Dataverse design and development.
- Experience with Power Platform.
- Experience with Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent experience profile, Session templates, workstream, and routing.
- Expert knowledge of Cloud Security Principles and technology such as Azure AD B2C Authentication, Okta Authentication.
- Experience designing enterprise level cloud native architectures, including designing microservices and working knowledge of multiple back end and front end technologies (Java, .NET, JAM stack etc.).
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Certification in Azure are preferred.
- Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications).
- Experience building custom APIs and web services.
