Responsibilities
The Senior Technology Architect will focus on the following core areas:
- Designing and enabling secure, scalable cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI. Developing, maintaining, and enhancing environment provisioning pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, CloudFormation).
- Integrating and securing cloud services for enterprise applications. Engineering and configuring advanced security controls for both existing and new cloud platforms, with a focus on Zero Trust Architecture.
- Designing and documenting reusable technology patterns for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, including low-code/no-code deployments. Integrating AI solutions, including knowledge of vector embeddings, chunking strategies, and LLM integration using tools like LangChain for RAG pipelines.
- Advancing the GoCLOUD product by implementing new features and capabilities aligned with its maturity roadmap.
- Supporting complex migrations from on-premises infrastructure to public cloud environments and contributing to product planning, service documentation, process optimization, and communication strategies.
Qualifications
Must-Have Expertise:
1. Multi-Cloud Design & Fundamentals (25% Weighting)
- Advanced design and implementation knowledge for Azure or AWS (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Monitoring, Automation, Data Services, CI/CD, Cost Management).
- Familiarity with GCP and OCI components (GKE, VPC design, BigQuery, OCI Identity).
- AI Data Skills: Familiarity with data bricks/fabric, knowledge of vector embeddings and chunking strategies, and LLM integration experience.
2. Security Mastery (25% Weighting)
- Microsoft Entra: High level of knowledge in Entra Permissions Management (CIEM), Entra Verified ID, and Identity Protection.
- Conditional Access Mastery: Complex policy design for multiple apps and roles, integration with Intune, and policy simulation.
- Threat Detection & Response: High-level knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) and Defender for Identity integration.
- Zero Trust Architecture: Proven ability to implement Zero Trust principles across identity, network, and endpoints.
3. Code & Automation (10% Weighting)
- Terraform: Experience writing reusable modules, state management (remote backends), and workspaces.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Policy as Code: Experience with Sentinel (Terraform), Azure Policy, or AWS Config.
- Cloud AI Services: Experience with Azure AI, AWS AI, Google Vertex AI for document processing, and LangChain for building RAG pipelines.
4. Project & Leadership Skills (10% Weighting)
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering.
- Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Experience leading technical teams through design and build phases.
- Demonstrated ability in mentoring and knowledge transfer.
