Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and selection of modern data standards to unify disparate artifacts into a cohesive, centralized clinical repository.
- Advise on the co-design of cross-jurisdictional interoperability specifications and provide guidance on advanced architectures including Asynchronous Subscriptions and Structured Data Capture (SDC).
- Direct the implementation of standardized application frameworks and SDC, focusing on clinical decision support and reducing reliance on manual, paper-based workflows.
- Manage the full lifecycle of implementation guides, including publication, versioning, ongoing maintenance, and deprecation.
- Act as a bridge between clinical, business, and technical subject matter experts to gather requirements and drive consensus on standards adoption.
- Develop and deliver training and education sessions on advanced data exchange topics for various jurisdictional audiences.
- Utilize Liquid templates for the generation of dynamic technical content, metadata, and implementation documentation.
Qualifications
- Mastery in jurisdictional data exchange architecture. Specific experience with large-scale provincial or national systems is highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in FHIR design, architecture, and the development of profiles and implementation guides.
- Proven track record in advising on advanced clinical app integration.
- Expertise in Structured Data Capture for electronic forms and clinical data collection.
- Hands-on experience with Liquid for metadata and artifact generation.
- Extensive experience performing current-state assessments, gap analysis, and terminology standards advisory.
- Comprehensive understanding of HL7 data types, vocabulary, and digital exchange tooling.
- At least 5 years of experience delivering training on advanced technical health-data standards.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
