Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud environments hosted locally, ensuring full alignment with multi-cloud strategies and enterprise standards.
- Implement native and third-party security controls, automate compliance monitoring, and complete privacy and threat-risk assessments.
- Develop and enhance cloud configuration and delivery pipelines using tools like Terraform to enable automated infrastructure deployment.
- Integrate Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to support application modernization and emerging capabilities, including generative AI.
- Advance product maturity by implementing roadmap features, developing reusable architectural patterns, and contributing to service documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and cyber security specialists to enforce security policies, manage access controls (IAM), and implement network security.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with core Cloud Platform services (Compute, Storage, Networking, and IAM).
- Proven ability to design cloud architecture following industry best practices and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automating CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Experience designing secure access controls, role-based permissions, and private connectivity (VPNs/Firewalls).
- Background in leading large-scale, enterprise-level IT/cloud projects, including risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
