Our client is looking for a Senior Test Lead for a 6 month contract in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive multi-year test strategy
• Lead and execute the development and implementation of an automated regression test suite, refine the test suite with every iterative software update
• Lead team and participate in the execution of test cases and scripts to verify solution. Reconcile, manage, record and track system or functional defects, break/fixes identified through requirements traceability across all types of testing
• Effective communication and collaboration with Testing Lead, project manager, vendor, business project resources and developers to ensure application quality and alignment with project timelines (e.g., notify and resolve team barriers, respond to changes in direction, demonstrate user centric solutioning mindset)

Knowledge of structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms, like Microsoft DevOps or Selenium
Experience initiating the specification, preparation, implementation and execution of tests, monitor the test results, checking the entrance and exit criteria
Experience executing functional tests, non-functional tests and systems level integration tests
Experience coordinating testing activities with project managers and others team members
Experience supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities
Experience contributing the testing perspective to other project activities, such as development, integration testing, etc
Experience with quality assurance principles, practices, tools and structured methodologies
Experience creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases and test data for various types and phases of testing, including technical and business functional validation
Experience adapting planning based on test results and progress (tweaking the plan) and take necessary actions to compensate for problems
Experience in quality assurance and testing, including unit testing, data testing, integration testing, load testing, performance testing, etc
Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
