Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of U.S. federal and state filings for both corporate and partnership entities, supporting the full compliance cycle.
- Coordinate with finance contacts across divisions to collect financial information and ensure timely responses to tax data requests.
- Calculate periodic U.S. estimated income tax payments and maintain the schedules supporting those computations.
- Support the annual tax provision process by preparing related schedules and assisting with year-end documentation.
- Handle routine correspondence from U.S. tax authorities, escalating more complex matters to senior team members as needed.
- Oversee the tax-related fixed asset records for various business units, ensuring ongoing accuracy in additions, retirements, and other asset-related activity.
- Maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide general support on additional tax or administrative projects as they arise.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in U.S. corporate tax
- Experience in public practice or industry
- CPA designation (U.S. or Canadian) is preferred
- Strong proactivity and attention to detail
