Our busy client, who is in a period of growth is adding to their Drafting team in Calgary or Edmonton. The Senior Vessel Designer is a crucial member of the team and will be reporting to the Drafting Manager. This is an in office role and requires a collaborative person to take on this great position.

Responsibilities
Develop precise 3D vessel models.
Generate accurate vessel detail drawings.
Review and approve vessel drawings provided by vendors.
Perform vessel checking tasks as needed.
Mentor junior and intermediate vessel designers.
Create and maintain vessel drawing standards.
Establish and uphold vessel standard drawings.
Recommend improvements for processes and efficiency.
Undertake other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in vessel design and fabrication.
Proficient in using Cadworx 3D software and AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D).
Strong understanding of vessel fabrication processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of vessel design.
Excellent communication skills.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
