Responsibilities
Handling the Front Lines: You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, whether they walk in the door or call on the phone. You'll listen to their needs and translate complex equipment problems into clear work orders for the techs.
Dispatching and Coordination: Your main role is to manage all service repair orders. This means dispatching technicians, tracking their whereabouts, and ensuring they have the parts and tools they need to get the job done right. You'll work closely with the parts department to make sure everything is ready before the techs head out.
Physical Responsibilities: This role requires you to be active. You'll be moving around, checking on equipment, and getting your hands dirty as needed to support the team. Construction experience is a major asset because you'll have a better understanding of the equipment and the demands of the job site.
Team Support: You'll hold daily toolbox meetings with the technicians, making sure they're prepped for the day's work. You'll also provide support and guidance, acting as a liaison between them and management.
Customer Communication: You'll manage a high volume of calls and messages, keeping customers updated on their service requests and collecting payments when needed.
Qualifications
Has a strong work ethic and isn't afraid of a physically demanding job.
Has experience in the trades or construction. You know what it takes to get things done on a job site.
Can communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and technicians.
Is organized and can handle multiple tasks at once.
Is a team player who can help our service department run like a well-oiled machine.
