Position Title: Service Technician
Location: Burnaby, BC
Permanent full-time opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shifts: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Wage: $24.04-$31.25 (based on experience and quality of candidate)
Post-secondary education in electronics or electronics technician/ technologist is preferred to succeed in this role.
Previous service experience is an asset

Responsibilities
Learn and understand multiple company products (training provided).
Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Accurately perform calibrations and repairs on time and within budget.
Provide customers with repair quotes, timelines, and terms; follow up as needed.
Communicate with customers and manufacturers to troubleshoot devices.
Support electrical product inspections.
Serve as a dependable service contact for customers and colleagues.
Assist the Rental department as needed.
Use CRM systems to track customer info and service activity.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Identify and pursue new service opportunities via website, calls, and emails.
Help maintain and grow customer relationships.
Primarily work from Burnaby, with occasional travel for customer visits and training.
Support other offices during busy times or staff absences.
Participate in annual inventory and equipment counts.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Electronics or as an Electronics Technician/Technologist (strongly preferred)
3–4 years of relevant technical experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with tools, soldering, and reading schematics
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused
Willingness to travel and fully commit to job-related commuting when required
Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for occasional travel to client sites
Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide 2–3 professional references
Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferred; Open Work Permit holders must have a minimum of 3 years remaining validity
