Responsibilities
• Provide expert guidance on agile product delivery and digital service transformation
• Advise and coach executive leaders on governance, structure, and cultural change
• Facilitate strategic sessions to align diverse stakeholders and drive decisions
• Develop frameworks, briefings, and roadmaps for digital transformation initiatives
• Lead service transformation efforts including capability-building and platform delivery
• Design outcome metrics and evaluate progress toward transformation goals
• Mentor internal teams on digital best practices and modern delivery models
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience working on agile software development and modern, service design based product delivery comparable in size and complexity for a large organization such as state, provincial, or federal government or a private company with 5,000 or more employees or for a startup or small business addressing a complex challenge at scale.
• 5 years of experience working with a dedicated public sector central digital office such as the UK Government Digital Service; Australian Digital Transformation Agency; Ontario Digital Service; the Canadian Digital Service; the Digital Service Division; 18F; the US Digital Service; British Columbia Government Digital Experience. Equivalent and relevant experience will be considered but must highlight specific roles in digital public sector work. Simply citing experience working for public sector IT more broadly will not be treated as qualifying.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience working on organizational development with a focus on digital transformation comparable in size and complexity for a large organization such as state, provincial, or federal government or a private company with 5,000 or more employees or for a startup or small business addressing a complex challenge at scale.
Desirable Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in managing projects in an enterprise level organization.
• 5 years of experience leading an organization through a large scale technology change impacting all levels of the organization.
• 5 years of experience preparing and implementing government-wide strategies and/or mandates on digital and service transformations.
• 5 years of experience with advising senior executives and preparing options for organizational design and development to facilitate transformation at scale, such as capability frameworks, toolkits, organizational structures, change management plans and workforce plans.
