One of our reputable Federal Government clients is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support ongoing modernization efforts, ITSM tool enhancements, and platform integrations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions that support the departments mandate for sound financial management, effective human resources, and efficient government operations across the federal public service. This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, and Service Catalog.
- Customize forms, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical leads to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain automated workflows and notifications to streamline business processes.
- Conduct system and integration testing, resolve defects, and ensure performance and security compliance.
- Maintain documentation related to technical implementations, configurations, and user guides.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and patching activities with minimal downtime.
- Advise on platform governance, best practices, and architectural improvements.
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, ITSM).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
- Bilingual (FRE/ENG, ENG/FRE)
- Valid Secret level security clearance.
- Experience working in a federal government environment or a large-scale enterprise.
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, or Virtual Agent.
- Experience in developing and deploying ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and/or HRSD.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow scripting components.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system connectivity.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in iterative project environments.
- Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades and ensuring compatibility of customizations.
- Prior experience with Performance Analytics and Dashboards within ServiceNow.
