Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
- Support the end-to-end asset lifecycle, from procurement to retirement.
- Implement and manage asset normalization, license reconciliation, and compliance reporting.
- Assist in HAM/SAM Pro configurations, including onboarding publishers, models, entitlements, and reclamation rules.
- Provide support for core ITSM modules: Incident, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Configure workflows, business rules, SLAs, and UI policies to align with ITIL processes.
- Assist with integrations, automating service request fulfillment and incident resolution through catalog items and Flow Designer.
- Collaborate with support teams to improve key metrics like Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) and first-call resolution.
- Utilize scripting capabilities with JavaScript, GlideRecord, and Script Includes.
- Automate processes using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customizing and configuring modules, data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITIL processes, specifically in Hardware and Software Asset Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
- Proficiency in developing and configuring core modules and integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules, including asset lifecycle stages, discovery source integration, and license management.
- Advanced scripting skills using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, and Script Includes.
- Experience in developing ServiceNow workflows and forms of varying complexity.
- Proficiency in creating custom dashboards, performance analytics, and reports.
- A solid understanding of data governance principles.
- Experience with ServiceNow’s Development best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is required.
