Responsibilities
1. Prepare Project definition, scope documents with guidance from management
2. Demonstrate a collaborative attitude by working closely with the ServiceNow technical and business leads, stakeholders to understand their requirements, maintain transparency, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
3. Manage all Project work plans, Enterprise stage gates documents, update schedules and report progress against plan
4. Prepare budget estimates with guidance from management and track ongoing Project expenses
5. Facilitate expense approvals and adhere to procurement and finance requirements and approval policies for project-related activities to support Project internal leadership
6. Prepare communications to senior management through guidance from senior Project manager/Program Manager or development management
7. Research project management tools or other topics in support of current and future efforts
8. Follow internal project management standards and established processes under the guidance of ServiceNow Technical and Business Leads.
9. Function as focal point for Project information, secured and with confidential access.
10. Other deliverables as directed by management as part of ServiceNow Program led by Portfolio Manager.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing enterprise-wide IT transformation projects in complex, multi-departmental environments, including budget/timeline management, scope definition, resource allocation, risk and issue management, organizational change management.
- Strong background in contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor/contract management to ensure effective ServiceNow partnerships and delivery outcomes.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects using agile methodologies with tools, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
- Proven success managing large-scale, multi-divisional ServiceNow implementations using hybrid delivery approaches that incorporate agile/iterative principles is preferred
- Expertise in velocity-driven sprint planning and execution, including maintaining sprint schedules, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and proactively removing blockers for ServiceNow project teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or ServiceNow is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with project management tools for planning, tracking, and implementing complex technology initiatives and solution packages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ServiceNow project status and outcomes to Executive and Senior leadership, as well as business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong people management skills, with experience leading technical project teams in ServiceNow application development and infrastructure solution delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
