Responsibilities
Content Publishing: Build, edit, and publish high-impact pages, documents, and graphics using SharePoint Online.
Site Management: Manage content libraries, permissions, metadata, and overall site structure in both Classic and Modern environments.
Migration Support: Assist in transitioning content from Classic to Modern SharePoint, including mapping content and redesigning pages for improved flow.
User Experience (UX): Apply UX principles to page layouts and navigation to improve findability and usability across the intranet.
Accessibility & Quality Control: Ensure all digital content meets WCAG 2.1+ requirements and conduct thorough QA checks for formatting and functional accuracy.
Stakeholder Partnership: Provide expert guidance to business units on SharePoint best practices and enterprise governance standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience using SharePoint at an enterprise level, specifically focusing on site creation, publishing, and permissions.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SharePoint Modern web parts, lists/libraries, and metadata. Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
Accessibility Standards: Solid knowledge of WCAG guidelines and accessible content design (e.g., alt-text, heading structures, and contrast).
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical IA concepts into user-friendly instructions.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Background: Experience working within a corporate communications team or a large-scale financial institution is considered a strong asset.
