Responsibilities
• Process all required paperwork, such as bills of lading, waybills, and international shipping forms, maintaining adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Maintain a meticulous and organized filing system for all shipping and receiving documents.
• Prepare, pack, label, and schedule all outgoing shipments as assigned, ensuring safe packing methods for sensitive telecom equipment.
• Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of all deliveries, verifying goods against manifests and invoices.
• Immediately report any discrepancies, damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications to the Inventory and Procurement Manager.
• Proactively problem-solve for any cases of missing documents, lost shipments, or delivery errors.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or parts management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Ormandy software is an asset but not required.
• Must have knowledge of filling out waybills, bills of lading, and documentation for international shipments.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
• This role requires good physical condition. You must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to push, pull, bend, walk, and stand for long periods.
