Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing inventory, supplying production lines, and mastering flatbed truck loading. If you are a self-starter with a "team-first" attitude, we want to hear from you.
• Pay Rate: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire (a clear path to permanent employment)
• Location: Aldergrove, BC
• Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays required based on production volume)
• Forklift Type: Sit Down Counterbalance

Responsibilities
• Expertly load and unload heavy steel materials onto flatbed trucks using a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
• Stage and supply heavy steel coils to production lines to ensure zero operational downtime.
• Map out daily flatbed loads for maximum efficiency; secure all outgoing shipments using banding machines and heavy-duty strapping.
• Receive incoming materials, accurately mark/track inventory, and perform rigorous quality control checks on arrivals.
• Manage all shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and maintain accurate material counts.
• Conduct mandatory pre-shift forklift inspections and keep the yard clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Qualifications
• Can easily commut to Aldergrove.
• Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-down counterbalance)
• Proven experience in a Shipper Receiver role with flatbed loading.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an industrial yard environment with changing priorities.
• Strong spatial reasoning and basic mathematical proficiency.
• High level of attention to safety protocols and hazard identification.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for coordinating with production teams and drivers.
