Responsibilities
As a Shipper Receiver, you will be at the heart of the facility's material handling operations. Your primary responsibilities will be centered around the efficient and accurate management of incoming and outgoing goods. This key role within the manufacturing & logistics team involves a variety of tasks critical to production flow.

Shipping and Receiving: Meticulously handle all incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying counts, and inspecting materials for damage. You will be responsible for preparing goods for shipment, including wrapping pallets, creating shipping documents, and loading trucks.

Forklift Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks and stocking materials in designated storage areas.

Production Line Support: Ensure the production line is consistently supplied with necessary materials and promptly offload finished products to prevent bottlenecks and maintain operational efficiency.

Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate records of all materials within the warehouse management system.

Workspace Maintenance: Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Labeling and Documentation: Accurately apply labels, tags, and other identifying information to materials and pallets. You will be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and filed appropriately.

General Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall objectives of the manufacturing & logistics department.

A minimum of two years of recent, verifiable experience in a dedicated shipping and receiving role.
