Shipper Receiver

As a Shipper Receiver, you will be the backbone of the warehouse operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a "hands-on" role, as the majority of your day will be spent operating a counterbalance forklift to manage incoming and outgoing shipments. Because our client specializes in high-quality mobile equipment, the Shipper Receiver must be comfortable navigating a tighter space environment where precision and safety are paramount. Accuracy is key in this role; you will act as an Inventory Specialist, utilizing your strong computer skills and attention to detail to ensure every nut, bolt, and piece of machinery is accounted for.

Responsibilities
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely to load and unload flatbeds and shipping containers.
• Manage all aspects of the shipping and receiving process, including verifying packing slips and inspecting goods for damage.
• Act as the primary Inventory Specialist by performing regular cycle counts and updating the digital inventory management system.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency in a tight-space environment.
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers for outgoing freight.
• Support the manufacturing and logistics team by ensuring parts are delivered to the production floor on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with provincial health and safety standards.
• Utilize computer software to track shipments, print labels, and manage warehouse data entry.

Qualifications
• 1 to 2 years of consistent experience as a Shipper Receiver.
• Demonstrated experience with counterbalance forklift operation (current license not required, but competency is essential).
• Proficiency in basic office software and digital inventory tracking.
• Ability to commute to the Kitchener facility reliably for a 7:00 AM start.
• Must be comfortable working in a tighter, high-density warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A commitment to accuracy and a "quality-first" mindset in manufacturing and logistics.
