Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 / hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime as needed)
What You'll Do:
Logistics & Dispatch: Coordinate delivery schedules, track inbound/outbound shipments, and dispatch trucks to transport materials to job sites.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to move, load, unload, and stage tools and materials.
Inventory & Reporting: Track yard inventory and compile routine performance reports using basic Microsoft Excel.
Yard Management: Organize storage layouts to maximize space, keep upcoming job materials easily accessible, and protect assets from weather damage.
Equipment & Safety Maintenance: Inspect tools and machinery for operational safety, ensuring full compliance with company safety standards.
General Yard Operations: Execute manual material handling and general warehouse duties to maintain an orderly yard.
What You Need:
Forklift Certification: Valid license with demonstrated experience operating Sit-Down Counterbalance forklifts.
Industry Experience: Proven background in shipping/receiving, yard operations, or logistics coordination.
Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record-keeping and data entry.
Physical Readiness: Capability to perform manual labor and comfortably work in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Responsibilities
Utilize a scheduling system to coordinate, track, and provide trucking for the delivery of materials to job sites while managing yard resources.
Maintain highly accurate inventory records, provide routine performance and status reports, and utilize Basic Excel for tracking
Implement efficient storage methods to maximize yard space utility, keeping upcoming jobs accessible and materials safe from damage or weathering
Inspect materials and equipment to ensure proper working conditions while strictly implementing and maintaining workplace safety standards.
Store materials in an orderly manner, safely execute physical labor, and fulfill other general yard and warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Basic Excel; experience with routine maintenance operations is a strong asset.
Must have the physical ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs and work in conditions requiring specialized PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses/goggles).
A valid driver’s license is strictly required.
Must be able to work independently in a busy environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
