• Complete comprehensive customs paperwork and international shipping documents for cross-border freight.
• Maintain organized records of all shipments within the manufacturing & logistics tracking system.
• Inspect outgoing steel products for quality and ensure they are secured properly for transit.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize shipments based on customer deadlines.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols specific to a steel manufacturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with freight carriers and drivers to coordinate pickup schedules.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile shipping discrepancies as required for the Shipper role.
Qualifications
• Advanced proficiency in operating a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Deep understanding of international shipping regulations and customs documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in BOL and manifest preparation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a manufacturing & logistics hub.
