Responsibilities
• Replenish stock in all departments and picking locations.
• Pick orders using an RF scanner. Ensure all product movements are completed in RF.
• Remove scrap in assembly department on a daily basis and dispose of accordingly.
• Move finished goods from all departments into shipping department and record quantity in RF.
• Maintain cycle counts and inventory levels in RF.
• Move a variety of materials around the plant.
• Safely operate a forklift to unload and load tractors and trailers
• Breakdown raw castings from original packaging to metal totes and store in locations with proper
counts, labelling and transactions in RF..
• Good housekeeping is to be performed daily.
• Move and organize pallets as required, including removing leaning skids and debris from all
departments.
• Move certain product totes by hand into appropriate warehouse location.
• Remove red tag from safety stock when all other material has been depleted and submit red tag to
Assistant Purchaser.
• Place offloaded skids in correct warehouse location.
• Assist in shipping and receiving departments as required.
• Work in accordance to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Ensure the forklift and all other equipment is in safe condition by conducting equipment and forklift
inspections at the beginning of each shift.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and forklift experience.
• Valid forklift license/certification (counter balance, reach truck and walkie).
• Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solving in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be team oriented, organized and possess time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
