We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a thriving team in the manufacturing & logistics sector. This is a temporary-to-permanent position for a motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Shipper, you will be the critical link ensuring that all products are prepared, documented, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will play an essential role in the supply chain, managing both outbound shipments and incoming goods, making sure everything aligns with company standards and customer expectations.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

-Opportunity for permanent hire based on performance and attendance after 3 months
Responsibilities
-Arrange delivery, prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
-Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped and attached packing slips
-Direct delivery trucks to shipping doors and help load/unload goods safely
-Inspect and count received goods, check against packing slips or other documents, record shortages and reject damage goods on transport waybills before shipping company leaves the building
-Return damaged items and route them correctly
-Operating material handling equipment, with a valid forklift certification being a strong asset.
-Call customers or carriers to co-ordinate pick-up and delivery
Qualifications
-Safety mindset
-Positive attitude and team player
-Ability to work under minimal supervision
-Strong attention to detail
-1+ years Shipping experience
-Previous forklift certification an asset
-Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
-Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
