Shipper/Receiver

Location: Etobicoke

Responsibilities
Operate Lift Truck- Counterbalance
Schedule shifts and tasks
Communication between department and management
Supervise overall Health and Safety program
Maintenance of equipment and yard
Load Customer Trucks
Label orders and stock
Package Stock lifts
Package custom orders
Unload coil
Receive coil
Unload purchased products
Monitor purchase product inventory
Housekeeping
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Qualifications
Must have a valid external forklift license
Must have experience in the steel/drywall industry or building supplies (preferred)
Must have knowledge of the full-cycle shipping/receiving process
Excellent communication skills
Team player
Experience working with vendors and shipping companies is preferred
Computer proficiency and experience with preparing shipping documentation
