In this position as a Shipper Receiver, offering a competitive pay rate of $20/hour, you will collaborate closely with warehouse team members and management. Daily tasks for the Shipper Receiver include physically pulling inventory from shelves, securely packing orders, shrink-wrapping items onto pallets, loading trucks, and processing incoming stock. In addition, the Shipper Receiver conducts regular inventory cycle counts and utilizes warehouse data systems and RF scanners to maintain up-to-date records. Responsibilities
• Accurately gather products and items to fulfill orders for internal and external customers.
• Complete all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork accurately within required timeframes.
• Clean and tidy work areas regularly to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records and stock counts.
• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing inventory, stock, and supplies as required.
• Put away incoming inventory into specified warehouse storage locations.
• Maintain high health and safety standards while operating warehouse machinery.
• Perform core shipping and receiving tasks and process pick ticket orders promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to organize and adjust daily workload in coordination with managers to meet customer deadlines.
• Safe experience using warehouse equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Experience operating a forklift or walkie-reach truck is considered a strong asset.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics or warehouse setting.
