Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory of all construction materials, small tools, and products.
- Serve as the primary contact for all yard materials and tools.
- Inspect all returned equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Implement efficient storage methods to maximize space and minimize the risk of damage or weathering.
- Keep accurate records and provide regular performance and status reports on inventory.
- Utilize a scheduling system to coordinate and track the delivery of materials to job sites.
- Manage the flow of resources in and out of the yard, including trucking and deliveries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Able to work independently in a busy environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible with strong people skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
- Computer literate.
