Responsibilities
• Coordinate all daily incoming and outgoing shipments within the manufacturing and logistics facility.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation, commercial invoices, bills of lading (BOL), and international customs paperwork.
• Inspect inbound raw materials and components for accuracy, damage, and compliance with aerospace specifications.
• Maintain precise real-time inventory records using ERP/MRP systems and perform regular stock audits.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Package, label, and crate delicate aerospace parts securely to prevent transit damage and meet transport regulations.
• Liaise with freight carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers to negotiate pickup schedules and track shipments.
• Collaborate closely with quality assurance, production, and customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area adhering to 5S and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of inventory management and customer service experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on shipping, receiving, and logistics experience.
• Direct experience working with international customs paperwork, export compliance, and freight documentation.
• Valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance ) preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a active warehouse setting throughout the shift.
