The position is offered on a temporary part-time basis, scheduled from Monday through Friday between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, providing a convenient 20-hour weekly commitment that supports an exceptional work-life balance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve shipping products using specialized computerized systems to create waybills, verifying and packaging orders with care, tracking job progress through specialized software such as Optifacts, expediting workflow between different workstations, and maintaining spotless organization within the customer experience area. By keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently, you help ensure that clients receive high-quality vision care products right on schedule. Responsibilities
• High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
• Previous experience in optics, shipping, or logistics is considered a strong asset, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada on a temporary basis.
• Ability to commute reliably to the worksite located in Victoria, BC.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring physical organization and computer literacy.
