Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end flow of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Inspect incoming deliveries, verify vital documentation, and accurately process inventory transactions within the MRP system.
Generate pick lists, build orders, and prepare outgoing shipments alongside critical documentation like bills of lading, placards, and MPLs.
Safely load and offload transport trucks utilizing material handling equipment, including forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any logistical discrepancies, such as missing documents or delayed deliveries.
Champion a safety-first culture by identifying hazards, collaborating with Health & Safety Representatives, and strictly following procedures for handling sensitive materials.
Maintain a clean, highly organized, and compliant workspace.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics role. Prior experience in a regulated industry is highly preferred.
Equipment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to safely operate material handling equipment, backed by a valid Forklift license.
Tech Savvy: Solid computer literacy, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, email communication, and MRP/inventory software.
Physical Readiness: Ability to thrive in an active role that involves walking, standing, bending, occasionally working outdoors in various weather conditions, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Flexibility to support short-notice overtime or weekend work is a plus.
Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management abilities, and a highly collaborative, positive team attitude.
Prerequisites: A High School Diploma (minimum) and the ability to provide a clear criminal background check.
