Responsibilities
Lead and manage Shipping/Receiving staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and corrective actions
Plan and execute daily shipping activities to meet operational KPIs and deadlines
Oversee inventory accuracy, including daily transaction reviews, cycle counts, and reporting
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Shipping Manual standards and procedures
Coordinate shipping schedules, load configurations, and transportation details with Sales and Customer Service
Manage yard operations and inventory movement, including off-site storage
Qualifications
5+ years of shipping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience coordinating with carriers, logistics providers, and customers
Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required); ERP experience preferred
Forklift experience required
