What You Will Do:
Hands-on Assembly: Build, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and power tools (drills, grinders, nail guns, etc.).
Blueprint & Prep: Read basic layouts or instructions to put components together accurately.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they are sturdy, built to spec, and meet quality standards.
Shop Support: Help move materials, keep your workstation organized, and assist with general shop duties.
Safety First: Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow all safety protocols.
Requirements:
Experience: Background in construction, carpentry, framing, or mechanical assembly.
Tool Skills: Confident and safe using various hand and power tools.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive hands-on work, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Detail-Oriented: Good hand-eye coordination and a commitment to building things right the first time.
Availability: Ready to start immediately and commit to steady shifts.

Responsibilities
Power & Hand Tool Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of tools (including power drills, impact drivers, grinders, nail guns, saws, and measuring tapes) to assemble products.
Component Assembly: Read and interpret basic blueprints, assembly diagrams, or work orders to build structures and components accurately to specification.
Material Handling & Prep: Retrieve, organize, and prep raw materials (wood, metal, or plastics) for the assembly line, ensuring all pieces are cut and ready for fabrication.
Quality & Precision Checks: Perform regular quality inspections on finished pieces, checking measurements, alignments, and joints to ensure everything is sturdy and up to standard.
Shop Maintenance: Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Properly maintain and store tools at the end of each shift.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other builders and assemblers to meet daily production targets safely and efficiently
Qualifications
Hands-on Experience: At least 1 year of experience in construction, framing, carpentry, woodworking, roofing, or heavy manufacturing assembly.
Tool Proficiency: Confident, safe, and experienced using hand and power tools (like drills, impact drivers, saws, grinders, and air tools).
Measurement Skills: Ability to accurately read a tape measure (fractional/metric) and use basic hand tools for leveling and alignment.
Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive bending and reaching, and safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to follow basic technical drawings, assembly diagrams, or written construction plans is a strong asset.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and have reliable transportation to get to our Calgary facility for scheduled shifts.
Safety Mindset: A track record of working safely in a busy shop or construction site environment.
