We're looking for a Shop Cleaner in Calgary to join our client's busy woodworking team! If you take pride in maintaining a tidy and safe workspace, this is a great opportunity for you. You'll be responsible for sweeping, collecting sawdust, wiping surfaces, and other general cleaning duties throughout the shop.

The position is open to individuals with disabilities who can meet the physical demands of the role. The shop is transit accessible and provides a supportive team environment.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional Saturday overtime from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
Sweep floors and clean up sawdust and wood scraps throughout the day
Wipe down benches, equipment, and shared work surfaces
Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly
Support safe and organized work conditions
Communicate with team members to respond to cleaning needs
Follow safety protocols, especially around machines and tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Communicate with team members to ensure production flow
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset, but not required
Comfortable working in a woodshop/industrial setting
Physically able to bend, lift, walk, and stand for extended periods
CSA-approved steel toe boots required
Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
